I know you feel, I played since beta to when pirates came out, got back like last yr ish~
Was so confused on how to train/level/merch/find friends and w/e.
Easier to start with someone you can chat with.

Thiefs kinda suck now IMO unless you go dual blade i guess, but I would just make a few new characters to see what they're all like now
