it's not reverse discrimination, it's just plain discrimination

i'd acknowledge the double standards around discrimination as a problem that needs fixing if we didn't live in a world where convicted white felons are just as likely to be considered for employment as black's with no criminal history given equivalent qualifications

A good number of bad eggs must have really messed up every black's reputation. Prejudice, while a warped view of reality, is still based in reality.

making a strawman out of the problem doesn't help either.

It is just discrimination. I agree with you. I think it is difficult though for most to acknowledge that it is directly more ways than most people think.

im white but i dont see why i should be proud of something that i had no hand in creating. it is a quirk of circumstance, same as being born black or whatever.

im proud of academic achievements, of reaching div 1 in fifa, and other sheet
