Just wondering what everyone's success rate is with these things?
I've been farming since game drop, picked up about 20 so far and don't have a single legendary item yet... All blues. Anyone else doing as successfully as me?

first one i got was a purple for a class i dont have yet. no luck since.

I'm in the same boat. I keep decoding engrams and they turn into blues or coins. I have got 3 legendary items from drops... All for other classes.

Got my first leg armor upgrade last night. I've had about 10 drop and 2 of them have been leg, the other one is a shotgun.

Haha well seems like it's just the RNG game, anyone find statistics on the %=Legendary? Tried jumping around the google, but didn't seem to find anything.
I was farming last night, picked up 214 Green 21Blue and 4Purple. Still no legendarys... so far I'm around 1 in 28 purple Engrams = Legendary-Exotic.

I just wanted to add while farming I am currently at 38Motes and 35Coins. So come this weekend I guess I will just buy everything I don't get this week heh.

Where do you farm?

There are a few good places now, I'm hoping get patched... just a youtube away. In the full legendary gear now, gear got really easy with glass.

My first was an exotic fusion rifle. My next was a green helmet. It's usually a 1 in 5 chance to actually roll a legendary for me.

after over 150 legendary engrams I got around 7legendarys and 4exotics everything else I just used farmed coins/rep the odds on these things are bad

Figured id update this:

All legendary now with exotic chest armor and an exotic sniper

Chest armor was bought from Xur. The rest of my items have been found from engrams.

Just today was legendary helm and exotic sniper.
