It is not about the damage at all... it is about the 2.sec delay. Especially the lower levels like 1-15.

9 monster waves:
Axe [4 users / 50% ee] ... 1 hit kill ... 1 sec = 4 monster kills ... 0-1 Prof point each / Repeat = 8 monster kills ... 0-2 prof point each [2 Seconds total]
Battleaxe user [50% ee] ... 1 hit kill ... 2 sec = 1 monster kill ... 0-1 Prof point / No Repeat all 9 monsters dead.
Note: Higher levels, 2 man teams work together to kill a monster vs 1 man using a Heavy:
... 2 Axe users / 3 actions each = 3 seconds (0-3 prof each) VS 1 Battleaxe 2 actions for kill = 4 seconds (0-2 Prof)

Yup.. said QD in post... and on that... 48% QD is like 1 out of 2 actions will be 1 second = 3 seconds for 2 actions [I could be wrong]
I wish Heavy weapons dropped as much as normal weapons, they are rare, and especially on Hardcore... :D but it is nice to find a useful one now and then.

You are right, it doesn't seem to take too long, especially for the lower ranks upto like 10, but in reality it takes 100% longer.

If it slows you from 1-15 cuz a normal axe can 1 hit kill, use a normal axe then? Cheaper and faster levels, is t it the goal of this game?

I thought the might be good for multistrike, 10% kill all! But again withthe delay they have it takes longer to charge up.

On topic: yes. Idc but if it can make some people happy go for it

I have those items for 1-71 runs... just hardly happens, so I stick to solo'ing and using heavies... still fun.

You are right, not many people realise that the delay means 2x longer charge up for Multistrike, only a Samurai benefits really using Longswords and that ability.

Revenge is great though... you dont need EE armor just use stat armor of same Tier level as your character and go mid or front if a person can heal.

Or another way to work around the 2 sec delay would be to add the potential of getting 2 prof points based on probability. E.g. 0.6 for 0 pts, 0.35 for 1 pt, 0.05 for 2 pts. The probabilities could be varied so that it would increase about the same as a regular weapon.

I do like the idea though Rex.
