So in the gold logs currently it shows IN and OUT.

Can we get a 3rd section where it shows + or -
I understand its basic math however think it would be wanted by many people to see at a quick glance how much they lost or made FG for the specific month.

Also this eliminates the need for overall FG made since users can quickly go through the months and add them up.

I don't think it's needed.
Also, it would confuse me, as :

Gold in : 5,000.00 would indicate I've gained 5k fg
Gold out: -5,000.00 would indicate I've gained 5k fg

Do you see where the potential confusion is? It's a double negative.

I think you have a good idea, that's just not needed/executed in the right way.

Maybe try to think of another way to organize this information that you feel would be better?

In my eyes it's fine as it is right now.
