You can do this now. When you click "purchase forum gold", you have the option to "pay with card". This is what you'd use to enter your credit card info.

That is the problem, I don't want to use paypal at all. Using the pay with card, paypal still processes the payments. My bank has blocked paypal payments because of problems.

the process of acquiring a merchant account and creating an encrypted page hooked up to said merchants gateway is easier said than done. however, if the demand is there, it would be worth the effort. i added my support to this, lets see what the rest of the community thinks.

already multiple options to pay and the bank can remove the block with paypal ive done it btw. i vote no.
