so im on a computer at matc which is a college where i live. this is my first year and i was wondering why does this version of magnifier convert a boxed part of the upper screen like the one at my old high school.

the one on my home computer works like zoom text but im use to it more so i use it. all it does is blow up the entire screen and you move the mouse where you wana go.
\
but this one at school just does the upper part of the screen and i hated that everytime i used it in highschool i prefer the other one much more.

my question is is there a way to change or fix that i never found an actual way. your ansswer will help alot

I would asume there are versions of the program and the only way is to get the updated version or something lile that.

There are many different views you can use with the magnifier:

1st - Open Windows Magnifier, then play with the following..

Windows key and Plus Sign (+) or Minus Sign (-) = Zoom in or out

Ctrl+Alt+Space-bar = Preview the desktop in full-screen mode

Ctrl+Alt+F = Switch to full-screen mode

Ctrl+Alt+L = Switch to lens mode

Ctrl+Alt+D = Switch to docked mode

Ctrl+Alt+I = Invert colors

Ctrl+Alt+arrow keys = Pan in the direction of the arrow keys

Ctrl+Alt+R = Resize the lens

Windows key + Esc = Exit Magnifier

Enjoy :)

Make sure you have Windows Magnifier open, then try the commands.

When you have it open & magnifying docked, hit ctrl+alt+F and it'll be full screen.

I'm playing with it right now on my Windows 7 and it's functioning properly with the commands above.

Ah okay, that PC must have windows 7 home basic.

Only the 'Docked' option is enabled/allowed for that version of windows. The other options (full screen etc) are only available in home premium, professional, ultimate, and enterprise editions of Windows 7.

That's why you can't use any of the commands either.

Sorry bud!
