i didn't play much of Destiny 1 only when it first came out pre-expansion and i never did really care much for it ... my buddy bought me a digital copy of destiny 2 [i refuse to call it d2 lol] and it's so much fun.. waaaay better than my experience i had with destiny 1 that's for sure !

It's a much better game all around. The only aspect that they haven't really improved on is PvP. It's pretty similar, but more buggy and with more bullshit that lets people instantly recover or escape from shit that they have no right escaping from. Also the hit detection is fucking insane. Half the time when someone dies, it's because they ran around a corner and your assist drags you onto the wall where they went and you shoot through the fucking wall somehow. Campaign, Public, side content, initial raid, strikes, nightfalls etc.. all seem better than the first Destiny to me so far. A lot of people disagree on the raid, mainly because of Calus being a bit buggy at certain parts, but I'd much rather that vs the alternative on the firs Destiny raid where you could kill the last boss in 10 seconds with a few well placed grenades.
