I played it for several hours on the beta. It plays exactly like borderlands in terms of feel. Graphics are obviously much prettier and more realistic. Armor sets and guns are fairly generic in terms of looks and not as varied in abilities as BL though.

Also, Destiny is a "serious" game so don't expect much humor out of it. It is truly built as an MMO shooter more than an competitive or cooperative FPS.



All that being said, if you played a lot of BL/BL2 and are planning to play the next BL whether that is the Presequel or BL3, I wouldn't waste your time on Destiny if I were you.

Lol no - it literally is nothing like Halo in terms of gameplay. They only commonality they have is that they are both Sci Fi.
