Idk if its' because of my ilvl (i never got the chance to get mount, my work schedule sucks).
I got the mount and an essence for 100k. I am 14/14H 584 though.

People also do Ulduar/Firelands/ICC for a 1% drop (or around there), so I don't see why it wouldn't be the same for SoO.

e/ I don't have the mount myself, can't you just do everything on normal and then convert to H for the mount?

Most guilds I see selling are 200-250k 13/14 Heroic 25M and another 200K for Garry w/o mount total of 425k-450k ish depending on guild you may get the mount

i ve seen inner sanctum in my server ( silvermoon alliance eu ) doing that for at least 350k ( not sure if the mount is included ). Anyway i think is crap to pay for such a boost cause you kinda loose the meaning of the game.

One of the main reasons people buy the runs is because they can't dedicate the months of progression time to earn it themselves. They would rather spend the gold and get heroic gear and a rare mount in 1 night and never have to worry about it again. Some people don't enjoy raiding, but they also want to have an easier time levelling in the upcoming expansion, buying a run solves this.

Buying a Heroic only drop mount before it goes to 1% drop rate for 200k is extremely cheap. Imagine you could go back and buy Mims Head and Invincible for 200k each.

Not to mention the heroic SoO gear will last you all through levelling from 90-100, and well into 5 man dungeons at level 100.
