Was better in the beginning, xpac gave feature I never liked.
Always was more of a fan of classic d2.

That's because people have a hard on for D2 but it's very true.
I am not saying it was a bad game by any means or D3 is good or better, I am saying what most people remember liking about D2 was added.

From what I remember also,
- Ladder reset
- You couldn't hold a connection to save your life
