Hello fellas.
I'm trying out the game for the first time in years again.
But what do I choose?

So far I've chosen Rouge with "Daggers", trying to be a Shadowlike character that crits or something like that.
What armor do I choose? I can see it varies with Magic/Physical Defence. What's best iyo?

Best regards

higher lvls get what u can afford for ee/price...if u want to be hybrid buy some descent heals

Swordset is best if you're planning on sticking around for a few MQ's, since it can be used by the lower non-feeder classes.

/e and 8k will get you plenty of gear anyway

Cheap... start with swords / clubs [not good in the long run]

Want to stick at it... daggers / axes.

EE for weapons & armor
Stat for main charm for melee [armor if in group you have a tanker]
EE charms for casting

daggers are fine and imo the best choice.
you should get ee scales/leathers (scales are the best armors)
+ dex charms

you can also play with the same gear if you pass your master quest to samurai.

if you pass again to paladin, you will need axes.

if you pass again to monk, you will need dex robes.

if you pass again to ninja, you are fine.

if you pass again to warlock, you need int staves, int robes, ee charms, ee heals

get that far and we go on talking about headhunter and alchimist ;)

bolded stuff should be bought first. (if you are on budget, you can also leave the ee scales and directly buy dex robes, as you can use them on all classes (if you use rogue first))

Get swords. They can be used on Feeder / Samurai / Paladin. If you are still here when you get a Monk, you will need a new set of weapons. If you enjoy the game and plan to stick with it, you will also need Staves (or Dagger/Axe combo)

For armor, any non-robe with EE will work on the first 3 classes. I prefer Scale. Charm is the lowest priority, any with +STR (+Life at lower lvls) will work.

This is all in my opinion, and it's one of the biggest LS debates. There is no "right" answer, only that to play the game you will need multiple gearsets.
