Hi hi.

So I bought this game on launch, played 24/7. Was having a blast 1-4 shotting people on my thief for what seemed like months.

Then I quit, came back leveled a guardian to max. Didn't really like WvWvW on him, but my thief seemed gimp and I couldn't really kill anyone anymore.

Thought maybe I would come back and try the instanced pvp, the 5v5 ?

Is it fun/worth it?

Maybe someone could help me l2P ? What is good/bad etc. I can play any roll, I just would like some input on what is strong/fun .

-Cheers

So many views. So little comments .

I guess maybe it's not worth playing in that case.

never knew this game had PvP.

but if you're going to base your choice on whether or not you play on the responses of an ultimately dead subforum, i agree, not worth it.

For me,

playing MMO's without community is bland. It's always been about the people you play with.

If the subforum is dead, I'd have to go find a new community, and I can't really be bothered to do it.

oh.

for me, a game's community is found mostly within the game.

isn't that strange?

omg so strange i can't get over it :O

Well I agree that in general it is this way. However, having a forum community is nice too. It gets rid of that step of finding a guild/group of people to play with.

Ultimately it is the in-game stuff that counts though.

Here are some pointers:

d2jsp GW2 subforum is VERY small in regards to activity. Either you become friends with them or you don't.

GW2 PvP is non existant. And the existing part sucks. Hardly qualified as PvP.
