I'm going to be trying Stronglifts 5x5 so I thought I'd make a blog about. Here's the program to anyone interested. I am 21 years old and 5'8.
http://stronglifts.com/5x5/#Summary_of_Stronglifts_52155

Right now my stats are:
Weight: 165 lbs
Squat: 255 x 5
Bench: 185 x 1
Deadlift: 225 x 5 (lmao2plaet)
Barbell Row: 175 x 5
Overhead Press: 55 x 5

My goals are:
Weight: any
Squat: 315 x 3
Bench: 225 x 3
Deadlift: 315 x 3 (lmao3plaet)
Barbell Row: 225 x 3
Overhead Press: 75 x 3

I don't care how much I weigh because I just want to be able to do the lifts.
I also don't really have any sort of time frame because it takes me as long as it's going to take me, whether that's 3 months or 3 years.

One of the problems I have going into this workout program is that I don't have a spotter, so I probably can't progress on bench as fast as I could. Also, starting out the program they recommend starting with about half the weight you normally do so you can ease into squatting 3 times a week... but I don't want to do that. I'll go a little bit lighter though.

I just got back from my first workout. Was only there for about an hour but fuck it was tough. I didn't realize doing 3 heavy compound lifts would tire you out so much. Normally I just do 1 compound lift and some isolation.

I ended up doing:
Squat: 205 x 5
Bench: 135 x 5
Barbell Row: 145 x 5

I'm worried I didn't drop weight enough.

Did my second workout today. Squats, overhead press, then deadlifts. Thank god it's only one set of deadlifts because I was drained. I only did 185. Maybe next week I'll do 205 but that's deadlifts twice a week so I don't know.

This week was tough. Squatting 3 times a week is tough. I'm not sure if I want to do it at the beginning of my workout while I have lots of energy or at the end of workout so I have energy on my other lifts.

Couldn't do bent over rows today, did lat pull downs instead. Close enough.

So next week is deadlift/ohp twice and bench/rows once. Squats still 3 times.

Combination of today being my first day of classes and me having diarrhea means I think I'm going to miss today. I'll just go tomorrow and saturday if I'm feeling better. As long as I can in deadlifts twice this week I'm okay. That's my weakest lift.

I lost a little bit of motivation since college started, but I think I'm going to try to continue bulking even with my shitty schedule. I mean, summer's over, so it would be weird to cut right now. Also, I'm no where near as big as I'd like to be.

And I was thinking about adding a couple accessory workouts to the program; mainly obliques. Those are definitely lagging behind the most.
