Check the names of the folders. That's what got me.

I feel dumb, I figured it out.

I had the done everything correctly, except the runes file was named "Runes.txt" so when I changed the name to just "Runes" I was able to make a LW runeword.

Can anyone help me out? I goto my C: drive > program files (x86) > diablo II > and there is no data (D:) ANYWHERE. I even reinstalled it and it is still nowhere.

Does this mean I have no place to put the "runes" txt anywhere?

Thanks

And how do you do this? It seems like you need to do Data (D:). It doesn't allow me to make something like that :/

2) Place it in the "Diablo II\data\global\excel" folder so that it looks something like this: Diablo II\data\global\excel\Runes.txt (note: you will need to create these folders)

Go inside your d2 folder
Right click, create folder, name it "data"
Go inside it
create folder called global
go inside it
create folder called excel
go inside it
put runes.txt there
