I am not confortable that my country (Canada) gives a blind ticket to Israel to kill families, also that official position does not represent the majority (30% mainly positive opinion and 55% mainly negative opinion about Israel as i saw in another recent topic in th PARD).

I was trying to find neutral videos about Palestine situation (auto-fail i know...)

This video is not neutral but it is well articulate and focusing on the actual situation instead of that painful historical review i use to see.

This video reminded me that i never took the time to verify accusation about "human shields", my first reaction was to make this thread: http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=71243785&f=119

Good. Most people in your country (or any country for that matter) don't have a clue about foreign policy.

this not concern only my province, we are 25% of Canada and we talk about 55%

let me know if you find stats about separate province about Israel opinion, i didn't find

Canada's position is pretty much more hardcore than USA, extreme republicans salivate on our foreign and prime minister

Should the government of Canada denounce the intentional and accidental slaughter of babies and other civilians caught in the crossfire between two military forces? It's a question as redundant as "does Red Lobster serve Lobster?" Yes. Of course the government, or any other organization run by rational and peace-loving people, should condemn such violence. The killing of civilians has always and will always be a reprehensible act. And yet Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird remain silent on the mounting civilian death toll in Gaza. It's baffling, since a quick peek at Baird's Twitter timeline.

This is just silly. So many of our people are pissed off because Canada's position was always more promoting peace than accepting violence in any capacity. I find it odd you're so quick to criticize an entire nation of people you know so little about.

There is no "easy" answer for the Israel question. The Arabs, more often than not, have been the aggressors historically. That doesn't excuse Israeli violence, but it makes more sense to support them.

Did you know that Hamas was planning on using the tunnels to attack hundreds of Israelis on the Jewish New Year? If this war hadn't started, there would have been a massacre against the Jews. And what do you think would happen then? Gaza would have been completely annihilated.

They should just put the Palestinians on a reserve and let them build a casino and resort.

Slot's basically solve everything right?

When they will stop being driven from vengeance there will be peace.

this poll suggests otherwise:
