Would I pay for an old item. Yes.
Will I pay over the worth of an item based on the fact that someone else paid 3k for it a year ago. No.
Trying to hold it hostage saying you will delete it if you don't get what you want will have no effect.
Delete it and quit if it's that big of a burden.
