Zoo is the epitome of a board control deck. Mostly because once it loses the board its difficult for this deck to get it back.

Also it relies heavily on temporary buffs such as sergeant/wolf/dark iron, so if you trade, it means u get the benefits of those buffs on your own terms.

depends on the deck you are playing against. first step of zoo is to identify what type of deck your opponent has. that in itself decides how you play.

I thought the same thing and would just go face, eventually my board would get cleared and I had no way of getting rid of big taunts. Once you get board control the game is mostly in your favor.. in before Holy Nova / Blizzard / Hellfire etc...

HEll even if they only get one board clear its easy to win if you keep 2-3 good drops to put in behind it.
