Awwww, did I make the bad gamer angry?

Nothing of substance to retort with? Personal attacks are always good if you want to expose yourself as lacking of all credibility, keep up the good work champ.

Don't.

It has zero fucking endgame.

Maxed out and was bored within a day and I took my sweet time maxing out.

It was worth the cost, I probably got 60-80 hours in before I was bored

Still disappointing for a MMO, the most important thing to keep people coming back is endgame and GW2 failed at that.

explorables, though they are on farm now.

fractals offers a larger challenege than any other mmo has to offer.

world bosses like tq and wurm are quite challenging

and of course the ever present fashion wars 2

lets not forget living story season 2 is "endgame" in the sense that you need to be 80 to participate in it.

I played GW1 and really enjoyed it, but haven't got around to getting GW2 yet. The big thing is I don't have a large chunk of time each time i sit down to play a videogame.
For example: I can't wait to set up a WoW raid group then wipe and continue trying for the better part of 3 hours every time I sit down.
So there's a few things I'm wondering.
1.) Can I try a demo anywhere?
2.) What is the gameplay like, can I play for an hour and make some form of progress?
3.) Has it been worth the cost of the game for you?

The game is actually designed for people who don't have a lot of time
You'll hit the peak progress of your day for playing about 2 to 3 hours a night
If you buy the game, you'll see what I mean ~ too much to go in to here

I just got back into it (actually never really have been into it... I'm farther now than ever on a new char)... And I have to say I'm having a lot of fun with it.

It seems that there's quite a bit to do end game now too... I just hope they add more pvp elements

If you really liked Guild Wars 1 and want to try Guild Wars 2, get ready for disappointment. They only thing that they kept from the first Guild Wars was the lore, everything else has changed for the worse.

I wasn't disappointed tbh. Sure its a lot different and GW1 still is unique. But GW2 has a lot of nice features no other MMO has.

it's disappointing at first hugely because of how they took out so many pvp elements that gw1 had. once you get past that the game is actually really fun

though you're right, the game can still be a lot of fun and is still much better than most free-to-play MMOs out there~
