Ugh, will don8 15fg if someone helps me access ladder runewords / items!

Here's what I did so far...

1) Downloaded Runes.txt file.
2) Moved Runes.txt file into d2 section, made new folder labeled Runewords (C:\Program Files\Diablo II\Runewords).
3) Made shortcut of Runewords folder onto desktop
4) Made shortcut to D2 LoD onto desktop.
5) Added -direct -txt after target line (made sure to add spaces) (\Program Files\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe" -direct - txt)
6) Added runewords in start in line ("C:\Program Files\Diablo II\runewords")

Ladder runewords still not working... I'm running latest patch of D2 as you can see in s/s.

And now my druid is not appearing in my start up screen, what gives!?

1) Download runes.txt

2) Place it in the "Diablo II\data\global\excel" folder so that it looks something like this: Diablo II\data\global\excel\Runes.txt (note: you will need to create these folders)

3) Add -direct -txt to the shortcut command-line so that it looks something like this: "C:\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe" -direct -txt

4) Try out the runeword to see if it works. If it didn't work, close the game using the Task Manager... do NOT exit the game normally or it will save the lost runes.

idk who gave you those wacky directions :P
