If Israel had established a country on the territory already occupied by the Jews it would have been fine, none of this conflict would have happened. The fact that the European Jews claim they had the right to migrate into that land and kick out the people already living there because their ancestors lived there 10,000 years ago is absurd.

Just because we don't agree with the protestors doesn't mean they don't have the right to express their views. The street goes both ways. If a group of Jewish Americans wanted to protest Hamas, we'd gladly give them a permit to take it to the street, just like we allow for these people to protest in favor of Palestine.

It's one of the cool things about the U.S. We're able to not kill and arrest people who have different opinions than we do.

I basically said it in response to the basic attitude of this forum. everyone seems to think that the actions of Hamas have to do with Israels actions.

Because they do? What Israel does affects what Hamas does, and vice versa. The same goes for what the U.S. does affects what al Qaeda does and vice versa. What it doesn't mean is that those actions are justified.

You may be hungry and have the right to eat. That doesn't mean the deer you're looking to eat won't try and run away.
