I am tired of people spamming in my, and other people's trade-topics...
Why cant they just get 10% warn right away? This way, they will most likely learn not to spam in trade-topics.

If you for example post.
"Any spam will be reported and will probably given 10% warn" Any user posting non-topic matters in that trade-topic, should get 10% warn.


I know you guys like to spam,
but what if it was your trade topic, and people wont take it seriously because it got too many spamposts,
resulting in No trade for the topic-owner.


Suggestion:
Give nonsense(off-topic) 10% warn!

If they dont get warn, they wont learn...

Then tell me, why do they spam?
How is the rules fine if they doesnt learn not to spam.
If they spammed 10 times they would be at 100% and you wont have to think about that person again.
Imo, it seems like its more like this: "Spam all you want, you might get warned, but we actaully dont care".


Whats wrong with my suggestion anyway? Its an easy matter.Easy to understand what I am suggestiing. I didnt think I needed to go any further with screenshots or anything.
Dont need a poll to see that this is needed to prevent lots of spam.

This matter must be dealt with, or else they wont stop spam...
I might even stop using this site because there is too much spam in serious topics.

Rules against spam is there for a reason.

If you really dont want spam, Fight it! Give them warn!

If a person make an inappropriate post report it and move on. It will be review by the Moderators.
It's not because you don't see a warn on the user's profil, that nothing is done.
Current rules are fine. A medium logic must be found. Give a warn directly is not the solution. And this is the Moderator's responsibility to manage it.
In my eyes not going to happen sorry.



For information, in your exemple you could be in trouble yourself, you are answering to spam, so you are just inciting the other users to spam as well. (Post #6 isn't needed)

I'm very well aware of that, but I still think the punishment for spam is too low. Being only suspended for a short amount of time wont get rid of the spam, cuz they can just log in xx hours later and spam more.

Nah, you need a strong logic for this one.

all you do is tie up mod time if all spam=10% warn

and given that almost anything can look like spam unless a mod reads through every thread and knows the personal history of the two people it would be incredibly flawed.

current system is fine..you are just too sensitive.

People get verbal warnings, or suspended. If they warned everyone for spam there wouldn't be anyone left on the site. Stop acting high and mighty, the people were asking a question about your items. If you don't want to give them an answer, don't reply to them. They won't post anymore.

As long as the topics owner decides to report spam, it should be concidered an unwanted post.
And if you dont want to be a mod cuz it "takes time", then that person is not suited to be a mod.



You know there is other forums here? Its not only trading grounds..
So many arguments against, you guys love spam that much?

Dont forget: No spamming or trolling. All topics and replies must be on topic and relevant to the discussion content and sub-forum it is created under.
Current system allows anyone to spam as much as they want, except for the time they are being suspended...
With warn-system, they will spam Less in trading grounds, or any other forum where you dont want spam!
