Patch 2.1 will introduce a new best-in-slot Hellfire amulet that can grant you a random passive skill.

Why should you farm materials now?

• You will need a Hellfire amulet no matter how good your current amulet is. The extra passive skill will be better than any other legendary effects.

• There will be legendary gems to find and level up, greater rifts to complete. You don't want to waste time in 2.1 doing uber runs.

• You will have to craft dozens of these amulets in order to roll a good one, so it's better to save up the materials now.
Fortunately, the materials used to craft this new amulet will be identical to the ones that are currently dropped by the uber bosses.
This is confirmed by a blue post, so it'll be advantageous to farm the materials now and save them to craft a bunch of hellfire amulets once patch 2.1 comes around.

I'm offering to carry you through all four uber bosses on T6 (uber Diablo will be done on T5) with my machines.

The cost for one set of 4 uber bosses will be 450fg.

1 set: 450fg
3 sets: 1200fg
5 sets: 1750fg

I will use my own machines. If you follow my instructions, you will not be in the fight, but safely in town.
