Well I guess the game and Paul hates me. Best I found in many months was a level five dagger with 79 ee and I found it at lvl 15 or so with no magic luck.

Higher stats? what does that truelly mean? If an item drops with X stat [dex/str/vita/int], it has X% chance to increase it? Or
does it mean Mystical stat role +X ML will make it Angelic?

There is no answer to what it does [Magic Luck] to an item that is rolled from the TC table etc

EDIT: Paul knows about the TCs etc, he has developed his own table and contents with alot of other circumstances that ruin
the X% drops from so and so TC drop tables and other things etc.

None of us here can say for sure, as no one knows the exact, current mechanics on ml.
All we can do therefore is share personal experiences.

I had great experience using a perfect 3x14 ml set + glyphs
and other ml builds on climbs, especially wells and solo.
But also had great results on muting back then when it wasnt a skill.

On (solo) climbs though, one shouldnt sacrifice kill speed with ml.
All ml doesnt help if you cant kill mobs or need ages...
Key is to find a balance there.

So much miss information. Yes we know how it works. Yes it works as its discribed. Yes you see a difference on what's dropped. And yes the creator has posted it a few times. Still doesn't stop all the pundits though.

"- When a magic level is determined, if you have magic find, it will roll against this percent for a chance to add +1 magical level to the item.
- When an item is rolled for magical stats, it determines the magical level for each stat. This will give you a chance to increase the magical level up to the spawn level of the item."

And there you have it. Higher ML is NOT a guarantee that the drops will be anything other than white tier I items
All it does is give a chance to add +1 magical level to the item, and a chance to increase the magical level of the item

And, if you don't have the killing power to finish off the mob you are fighting, your ML ain't gonna do diddly squish for you.
I choose EE over ML any day of the week

It's hard to wrap your mind around it because magic luck in most games works a little differently and you can see clear results from it and increasing it.
