I had one of theese blogs before where I played shortstack on PLO10, i quit that strategy because i don't think it's viable on micro due to rake.

now i've been destroying PLO5 for a couple of months (see graph) so i'm gunna take another stab at PLO10 but playing standard stack this time.



I'm not very good but I think I can possibly beat this stake if I table-select properly

Starting off with a hand I played today

opening with this hand from BTN is mandatory I think, I get 3-bet by a good agressive player which happens alot on these stakes. no-one has played me before so they figure i'm bad and want to isolate me by 3-betting so I have a clear defend especially in position. BB flats but i'm not too worried about him since he seems like a rock-type player.

Board comes a bunch of lowcards, SB's line checking both flop and turn looks to me like potcontroling an overpair, I think he has alot of overpairs + fd in his range which he can call on turn but fold on many rivers if he dosen't improve so my plan is to rep the straight and barell again on non-pairing, nonflushcompleting rivers if I don't improve to 2p or trips which has alot of showdown value.

River was a very good card for me so I barrelled again and took it down according to plan.

Winrate for month of June pre rakeback, contains a small and very skewed sample of PLO10.

Due to insufficient bankroll I only played 1 table at the time on PLO10 and I took bumhunting to the extreme, that's why allinadj bb / 100 is absurdely high for that stake, it's not a sustainable winrate obviously.

52 Dollar rake just feels dirty, i'm gunna look into possibly changing network soon.

I realise river is a really bad card for me as it hits his range quite often but my line is so weak that I don't really feel like I can fold here

My bet was actaully a VB, I want him to call with a random flush but I guess he took it as a blockerbet and decided to bluff me off of my hand

It's friday so all the fishies come out to play, floped the nuts versus two maniacs and decided to fold and they showed up with naked fd / second nuts.

I'm 100% positive it's the correct play though, if we get it in 3way which is very likely as they both play without a fold button i'm very often gunna be freerolled or drawing to a split while having a very real chance of losing to a board pair or a third diamond etc
