He wasn't better but Rich Franklin is probably my favorite 185 champion.

Hey rich was great for his time. I think much the same of Silva. He destroyed everyone until there was nobody left to fight but cans.
Now he is old and todays MMA fighters seem to be on a higher level.
It happens. Doesnt make his reign at the top any less awesome and worthy of greatest middleweight to date.

Thats what is stupid about the term "goat". How you going to be the greatest of all time if time is still going? Lol..

I was never a huge silva fan. He was obviously amazing I just never seem to enjoy champions that don't speak english.

As for Goat I think a few will transcend time. Jon Jones because of who he beat and how in my opinion will be talked about forever. As for other sports I highly highly doubt we ever see another Gretzky. But I am with you for the most part. We as humans have gotten so much bigger faster and stronger to think for a second fighters of 50 years ago would even stand a chance is crazy.

jon jones will never transcend time come on, the guy got cut twice on roids not mentioning his bevahior outside the octagon. He will be remember for someone who ''could'' become one of the best but he has USADA on his head forever and he will be known for this more than how he destroyed his opponents in the cage, period !

At least pick someone clean and so far, there is only one who dominates while 100% legit and its GSP !

While being greased up isnt as bad as popping for roids, its certainly not something that is going to be remembered of Gsp in a favorable way.
