I used to LOVE necromancer on Gw1. It was my only character I played, I'd solo the UW, had a running class(not even kidding. I ran people LA->ToA on a N/A build plenty of times for quick cash.), and just did general PvP with my heroes I had tinkered with. However, GW2's mechanics are much different than what Gw1 has - As we all know.
I still really like the gameplay in Gw2, I just often times find the necromancer.... lacking? I'm currently level 42, been doing most of the map clearing/side missions and stuff, but haven't had much time to play due to school. I just feel like the combat gameplay is too slow for my liking on a Necro, though.
Often times I've read that Warrior/guardian are the two best characters for new players?
At a quick glance I've noticed that they have a lot more passive support from virtues/banners, use the same weapons and such, but guards have lower health/more def than the warrior. I'm heavily debating switching to a warrior just to see if I do end up liking it more thanNecro.
But I'd like to hear what people have to say, is it too late to switch? Would it be worth it? Which is better in the endgame?
