Please enlighten me on where that spoils anything? Anime showed mc is a ghoul, and his best friend. Which is IN THAT PAGE and then they are only talking about if the ghouls are real or not and joking about it.

I can't speak for the rest since I haven't read the source material but the atmosphere doesn't seem fan-service-y.
