Need friends ingame who know what to do, im lost in the sauce. Yes, you follow the questline I get it, but there has to be more, crafting etc)

For leveling.. Just do hearts , map completion is probably the easiest.. WvW is okay too but slow if there's no zerg to follow.. Spvp is boring as fuck since most of it is filled with noobs..
Dungeons works too.. and for the main story line.. its also boring and repetitive as fuck.

The flying fuck are you talking about? Outside of wvw, it doesn't matter what server you're on. Megaservers changed all that.

Guilds are still the same
They like to stay local to the server for WvW and don't want you in unless you're repping for "JQ" or "BG"
That alone, is important if you want to run with good crews
