@op my first pre-built computer i bought for myself? it's my late 2012 mac mini.
my first family computer was a pre-built. but i don't remember it. iirc it had windows 95 on it or windows 98.

I was surprised enough to see my pentium 4 processor with AGP ports able to run MW2 on low settings with 60+ fps

i dont remember my 1st comp, but i do remember it was an AGP gpu and 256mb ram i think..

My first was a shitty gateway my mom bought... was our families first computer ever... she bought it in 2000



I took it from the family when she upgraded in 2003... I got a free lcd monitor from my uncle.. then i went and bought a GeForce FX 5600 from a friend has 256 mb of vram.. Then I got an old old old IBM mechanical keyboard and my first optical mouse.. hooked it up to like a 50$ logitech surround sound w/ a sub... lol... it was ballin... I loved it so much.. I used that computer from 2003 until 2008 and when I got rid of it.. it still ran great... I even modded the side... I painted it black with spray paint and cut a side panel window into it. I hated how ugly the cables looked so i put all the cables in corrugated tubing lol

I wish I still had the pics... Not sure how much ram i added to it.. I think it had like 4 gigs of ram.. I went to a local recycling center a lot and would ask to look at their computers before they would destroy them.. and I would take ram, hard drives, etc etc and try to find ones that worked... by the end of it's life it had
