My example earlier in thread. Void, Disruptor, Jug, WD and Sniper. Winning game because of good support. Then the jug decides to rambo off by himself and try solo 2 people. As he dies there are 4, void charges in from half way across map and ults them alone, then tries to run away and dies. We get straight throned because of those 2 morons.
Different game, Jug repeatedly off solo pushing and feeding endlessly. Buys refresher and aghs. Ults someone who has dodged him via ghost scepter at least 3 times already, he does it again. Rather than use refresher before running in he charges in and then tries to use it but oh wait he is already stunned by 2 people and dies.
Clinkz goes solo safelane against 2 stunners and gets 0 farm, we tell him to go mid or long lane with a support and he won't leave the lane.
Doesn't matter how good a carry or support you are some retard can throw the game.
Just had another example in my game just then; We have taken 2 of their rax, BS passive gives vision of Invoker at Rosh about to die, 3 support rush there while the 2 carries decide to farm some neutrals on the way. They killed rosh and then rolled us, after that fight we couldn't recover and lost. 8 losses in a row because of complete morons.
Obviously when you take it to the extreme all arguments are going to fall flat. But asuming your carry is on the same level or a reasonable amount lower than the enemy team, a good support will be extremely useful and noticeable.
