Corsi/Fenwick can be misleading. I dont think the Flames have played particularly well or consistently since the big winning streak in January.


Also,

Johnny out of lineup due to family matters (Father had a heart issue).
Monahan shut down for season.
Versteeg shut down for season.

Chucky/Brodie both day to day, might get back in.


I havent watched since the loss to the VGK but now I definitely have no reason to tune in.

No corsi in those stats, also Flames lead the league in missed shots this year. And Shooting Percentage For: 4.53%, Shooting Percentage Against: 12.5%. Everything that could go wrong did give wrong. Oh well. Silver lining is we aren’t as bad as it looks, but needs some tweaking.

Yeah, they definitely had a worse record than their stats should indicate. They have one of the worst goal% on a "High Risk Shot" in the league too. It's why I'm not all doom and gloom about the team going forward, just really bummed about this season because it was in their grasp and they let it slip away.
