The gsa thing is obviously something's he wrong on. The English to English thing I see as rude but not racist or directed at him because he's Sikh looking at it as an isolated incident. The guy spoke clear English he just spoke in double speak. I'm in favor to some degree of a niqab ban, they are draconian. Now a hijab , that's a different story.
Ahh with his record I don’t give him the benefit of the doubt there. Also I actually tend to agree with the niqab, but not with the gov stepping to ban religious practices, especially when it’s half hearted, and brought up around election time to rile up a specific voter base of xenophobes for your cause. I see his whole election campaign as being a disengenuous blaming of Notley for everything wrong with our economy, and people eating it up unfortunately. We’ll see how it goes.
