Better gear is required to reach elvel 71, its doable to reach 71 without any gear but it's like palying d2 hell a5 with isenhart set. (Possible but hard and not funny at all)

There is a pvp section yup, its as dead as a cimetery.


The fun part about being at hell with isenhart set is you will have people to play with, not here. The population have its own group and wont really change these groups. You will need to ivnest few thousands of fgs to make some friends here.

A couple of things that will make a little easier for ya if you aren't intending on buying good gear

Don't be annoying
Don't Beg
Read all the stickies in the Ladder slasher page
Be patient
Try to find a guild to join It will be a little more difficult to begin with due to your Low post amount and Join date( when I comment on the low posts that doesn't mean go spam the shit out of the D2 forums to get it up xD)
Start out by selling Gps To guilds If any guilds are still doing that... might be a way in the door to a more permanent Residence and possibly to some lowbie Guild Sets to speed things up with.

Game is oriented towards Guild Point reward, SO, you are correct, rinse, repeat, recycle 1-71 and hope for a good drop to help you on your way.

If you are not going to invest, then your best option is to play Hardcore, xfer all good gear to mules, get as far as you can without dying or re-roll.
Build your gear independently to your character class or if lucky have gear for the unlocked character.

Basically... don't rely on others, be friendly & courteous and persavere... you will get recognised for genuine effort and consistency and will find
gaming to be more fun... don't give up... YOU CAN DO IT!!!
