depends on the state. Russian abortion statistics are actually quite terrifying when you think about it.
i do believe in the right to live for the fetuses, and in the best of all possible worlds unwanted children could be born and given into adoption so that they could be taken care of.
however, the fact is that in countries such as Poland and Ireland abortion statistics don't differ that much from many other countries when abortions done in neighbouring countries by Polish/Irish citizens are taken into account.
so i guess i'll have to go with the pragmatist view here.
it's good that late term abortions are controlled in most countries though
