I don't see the need for this really. It's just as easy to track a sticky or a random topic in the forum.
I would like there to be an indefinite tracking option, but it's also not that big of an issue since it takes 20 seconds once every three months to refresh your tracked topics to 3 months again.
By the way, tracking subforums and main forums has already been suggested here:
http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=62029787&f=258&o=0 and njaguar has said in the past that he will not make them indefinite:
http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=29017496&f=39&p=183740642 It's been almost 5 years since so maybe he's changed his mind since then.
Anyways, if it's a quick and easy change I vote yes since it is a nice quality of life type change, but otherwise it's a no from me since it's hardly an inconvenience to take the time to refresh the topics every three months or to track a random topic in a forum.
The other suggestion reads to add in most recent topic posted on a limited amount of forums(based on activity). I'm simply suggesting quick links to the sub forums, no threads or anything. Just a quick link like i showed above in the screen shot.
And the one about limitless tracking was talking about threads. I'm talking about Sub forums and Main Forums only. I have no problem with threads being tracked, idk bout most people, but the only threads i actually are interested in going back and tracking for more than a couple weeks at most are guild topics.
