Why was there a 20-year-old student in a high school?

Well ofc you should send a text to let the parents know first. A letter even might be better. But once you have ascertained that they refuse to help their child then you should help them instead.

sooo then a doctor will lose their license and probably be sued for child endangerment and a whole list of other things, as well as said stranger who DIDNT get permission. sounds like a good plan.

Not uncommon at all, and not really crazy considering many people graduate on time at the age of 19.

So what if she did? If the parents refuse to acknowledge a child's condition then she'd still have done the right thing. Better to have GRS as early as possible imo.

I honestly can't believe you think that would be okay.

No child should be without GRS. It's a god-given right.

She sounds like a loose cannon with an uncontrollable urge to be a savior.

First of all, people have been asking why you have a 20-year old student in your class. She is from a another country and she started school late. Her parents are not in the country. She wants a high school diploma," Mitts said.
