Tennessee teacher Jennifer Mitts says she was forced to resign from her post at Red Bank High School after taking a student to the emergency room and footing the bill. However, officials at the school say they were only threatening to temporarily suspend the educator for her actions, and that she resigned voluntarily.

i get their whole insubordination angle but it's still pretty stupid

That is inappropriate, most schools have a list of emergency contacts that are to be contacted before any actions are made. Especially concerning medical actions, this could be a bigger problem with liability, she should be fired, glad she quit.

The student was 20 years old. Let's not blow this out of proportion, as if she took a 5 year old for gender reassignment.

How dare she bring that student to those pagan witch doctors!
Only through the healing power of Jesus Christ should that student's afflictions been cured.

Now a teacher is out of a job, and a soul is lost forever.
When will people learn modern medicine is a complete waste, belief in Jesus Christ can cure any affliction.

So what if she did? If the parents refuse to acknowledge a child's condition then she'd still have done the right thing. Better to have GRS as early as possible imo.

Sounds like Jesus Christ is often on your mind.

he was making a hyperbolic joke. and i would destroy a person who took my 5 year old to get GRS without at least having the balls to send a text at the very least.

Well ofc you should send a text to let the parents know first. A letter even might be better. But once you have ascertained that they refuse to help their child then you should help them instead.
