I played the first Guild Wars quite a bit. Went through and beat all the expansions ect ect. I know GW2 has been out for some time, so figured now is the best time to ask. Is GW2 worth the purchase? Better or worse than GW1? All personal opinions welcome!

i just recently started playing gw2, played tons of gw1

its a different game, but its not bad, its fun so i am still playing gw2 now

Yea im also on the fence about this game just thinking if i should shell out the 50$

I won't sit here and tell you if it's good enough to play for 10 years like Diablo 2
That's all up to your own tastes of gaming
But I will say that it's at least good enough to buy and play something new for a few months
It is a fun game

Ok well I bought this game 2 years ago and I only played roughyl 40hours ingame I liked it.
Its Decent but you also gotta look at The Zones you level in will Downgrade ur Damage and level to that Zone.
So if ur Level 40 but you have not fully completed a level 10 Zone you will be downgraded to a level 10
this is to make Higher level characters be able to help level lower levels.


I Bought reaper of Souls for D3 I loved Playing D3 after Patch 2.0.0 I honestly prolly put 200hours into the game before Launch of RoS
When RoS launched i got 4x characters to 70 than game just got real bored for me Even know Adventure mode is Fun it seems like Nobody wants to play game Legitly anymore, all they want is to be Powerleveled.


Guildwars 1 - 2 U get the Ability to Jump (+) u can Craft diffrent things /(Food/Armor/Jewelery/Weapons) U also have an Auction house Also they bring updates to game like every 2weeks

Meh game with meh pve and meh pvp and meh wvw.

The Z-axis is nice because of the underwater content. I'm sort of hoping that someday, there will by flying, with mid-air combat.
