Old one is dead, i've been listening to tons of Jazz lately so i'll post some stuff

Feel free to contribute but please keep it trad / modern (no smooth jazz, no electronic jazz, no elevator music)

Starting off with a top musician from my home Country, Lars Gullin

I'm not the biggest on Vocals but I have a huge soft spot for Monica Zetterlund, by far the best vocalist to come out of Sweden. On this particular album she's backed by the allmighty Bill Evans

As cool as it's gets

A song from my favorite Lee Morgan album, The Cooker is one of those rare occasions were every player shines. Truly amazing stuff

Legendary album, mainly because it sell for absurd cash on original vinyl. Musically it's a solid hard-bop effort with great personnel.

Your thread was very good, ashame it didnt last :/

I like this tune because of its heavy use of flute which is quite unusual to see in blue note recordings of this time, also hubbard plays great of course
