i used google translator

The Quebec Liberal Party (PLQ) allow the hijab to police, according to the outgoing Liberal MP in Hull, Maryse Gaudreault.

"When there is a liberal rule, there will be a charter which will ensure the neutrality of the state, gender equality and will oversee reasonable accommodation, she has stated in an interview with 104 7 FM. The bill will adopt the PLQ will not speak to ban religious symbols in public administration, or for positions of authority either. "

Asked about the possibility of allowing the hijab to police who ask Ms. Gaudreault said, "she can wear a hijab."

Its leader, Philippe Couillard, had avoided answering this question the head of the Coalition avenir Quebec Thursday debate.

Why is this an issue? We already have police in turbans do we not?

Only case I can see is if it becomes a health and safety concern

unsure about the safety part, you have police in turbans and you dont get problem from it ? like someone who is hostile vs a religion and resist to arrestation

i agree that it should be allowed if it is only a matter of liberty, i am unsure cause we dont see much police officers with turbans in my province
