That's a very immature view. Many brilliant people are religious/spiritual in some way. There's thousands of viewpoints out there, and to think that naturalism is the obvious one indicates you probably haven't given the subject very much thought.
Whether the world would be better with religion or not is irrelevant to the question of what is the truth.
