It's not necessarily hard to do, it just doesn't make sense for the vast majority of people.  Even hipster agnostics claim to be spiritual.  Christopher Hitchens himself believed in some kind of spiritual dimension, even though he was a famous agnostic.

It's really not that hard to open your mind up a little bit and understand why most human beings are not naturalists.  Anyone who thinks the answer is obvious probably hasn't thought it through.

the answer is easy, fear of death is the only existing reason of all spiritual, religions or whatever you call it

it is deeply hooked in you unconscious and drives all your beliefs

all religions have something to offer after death

accepting that we are only a part of natural cycle is not easy

That's just a psychological explanation, which is overly simplistic. Human beings constantly overcome their fear of death for different reasons. Having a spiritual viewpoint does not take away the fear of death. There are many religious people who are bitter at the end, and just as many non-religious people who are at peace at the end of their life.

I think this may be hard for naturalists to understand. Religious people are not free of the fear of death. Psychological explanations go both ways. It may comfort someone to know that death is the end.

doesn't mean that this something would necessarily be desirable - Hades, as an example, was considered to be just really damn boring. and iirc even that wasn't necessarily accepted among the Greeks
and the Sadducees certainly didn't believe in an afterlife

more so, claim that god wants us to toil day in and day out for material wealth, and get a passage saying the exact opposite.

ok, but you're forgetting the fact that a certain level of material wealth is now mandatory to live.
you have to work for food, you have to work for electricity, insurance, etc etc

Sounds like you need to get your mind on other matters.

Get it?  Mind on other matters?  Because telekinesis is moving matter with your mind?

No?

Okay then.

not really. have you tried it? giving away all your material possessions and going from town to town spreading the good book?

Im sure if you gave everything you own away and devoted your life to god, some church some where would have a place for you.

yes, and who would be paying for those things you are consuming?
have you forgotten we live in an existence where the stealing of one life is required on a daily basis to maintain your own life.
god created an arena of death where we must all slaughter one another in order to progress our lives forward.

There was this guy, I think his name was father George, he came through my town a few years back.

looked kinda like gandolf, had a beard and a staff. so im with some friends, and we see gandolf walking down the street, so we gotta stop and see whats up. Turns out hes on some kind of pilgrimage walking to a bunch of different churches in the north east, at the time he was headed to the National Shrine of Our Lady Of Czestochowa. The only things he owned were the staff which he had found while on a pilgrimage in the middle east, and the robes/rosary/sandals he was wearing which had been given to him by a priest. Just going from church to church, getting some food and a place to rest for the night at each one and moving on to the next.

there was a website some one had put up for him, ive been trying to find it, but I cant, I might not be getting his name right, though im pretty sure it was father George.

Pilgrim George!!!

Reading over the web site my description is a bit off, looks like he has a bible and a tent too.
