After the BQ got crushed in the last federal election, and now this stunning PQ collapse it will be a very long time before we end up having a national discussion on separation.

Maybe, i hope BQ will never come back, a Canadian party that only defend one province's right should not exist, its a shame and gives wrong image of quebecers in Canada

PQ have to stop complaint about our rights in Canada and make his homework to explain how much Quebec is a economical and cultural strenght to his population, like Parizeau did before making last referendum

you maybe wont hear about separation for a while but if PKP become PQ's chief and make the party very popular you may face something bigger than 1995

Marois was not liked by quebecers and Couillard new chief has lot of charisma, thats more the reason of last election result than the referendum's threat, quebecers are influenced a lot by the leader himself

PKP may have 'rock star' style status in Que society, but he is a long way from the left leaning roots of the PQ, the only thing they have in common is independence...
Not sure how well that would play with the PQ's traditional base.
