I'm all in favor of any kind of secession if the people can pull it off. Individuation and freedom of expression is something I'll always support, so whenever anything is done to secure this for any people (esp. minority) in a democracy, it's a win.

I wish Quebec luck in securing this.

I support Quebec if they want to leave. I'd be heartbroken. That said, I'd support it with 51% of the vote. 52% was enough for Newfoundland and Labrador to join Canada. This "clear majority" stuff is BS.

The Native Americans would secede, taking large chunks of Quebec with them.

It's clearly just not tenable.
