Seems that Russia has responded by placing sanctions on us.

The following people are banned from entering Russia:
House Speaker John Boehner
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid
Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Robert Menendez
Chair of the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources Mary Landrieu
Caroline Atkinson, White House deputy national security adviser
Daniel Pfeiffer, White House senior adviser
Benjamin Rhodes, deputy national security adviser for strategic communications
Sen. John McCain
Sen. Daniel Coats

Obama and Kerry are incompetent. I've given up hope for a strong response.

The only good that will come out of this is a Democratic loss of face.

His response is completely laughable, but I believe that's the idea. Look at our president next to the guy. One has little experience in his position, the other has been around and has played this game before. This is a joke on us and naturally, the media and our representatives took the bait.
