Sooo I love playing as my necro right now, but I've never actually tried any other classes (only level 23 or 24 ). Just starting to get back into Guild Wars 2 , after like an 8 month break...
As far as handling mobs and everything, I destroy shit. I've always loved playing as a necro in GW1, mainly for the utilitarian skills that they have/had ( spiteful spirit , desecrate enchants, etc.. can't remember all the GW1 stuff.)
My necrodeals pretty serious AOE damage, and I can rip things apart just normal attacking as well... but how is it in the late game?
Obviously class is a choice based on each person, moreso than 'this one is better than this one' , so take your "this class sucks" argument somewhere else.
I want to hear about how this class actually stacks up comparatively to the other classes in solo/group play.
At the moment I mostly do solo since I'm a loner with no guild or friends ( looking for a guild though.. that'd be nice.. ) , but I'm gonna assume that in the late game I'll be doing more party playing and everything.
