No ones leveled suffusing higher then 16 on hc btw.
Its pretty tough tbh, but you'd be sought out by people who want to enhance there comfries or fish

So running that solo 1-10 along with fishing and cooking equally would work?
Like working each proficiency a level and moving onto another until they are equal?

keep in mind suffusing takes a lot longer to level up than the other ones. Likely due to how useful it can be at higher levels.

Ahh don't worry I don't plan on having an immense amount of time. I'm just looking for something to pass the time between my classes everyday. Small hours accumulated

My plan so far:

Fish until prof level 1
Cook until prof level 1
Do solo levels until I can't progress and suffuse until level 1

Reroll and repeat.. How's that sound?

In order to suffuse as you guys have mentioned it requires me to get essences -which come from transmuting items.. Is this correct?
Then after a certain point I won't be able to do much because I need higher prefixes right?

correct, you wont have to worry about that for a few months, maybe when ur suffuseing is at around 7-8 and ur beginning to use t4's to lvl suffusing.

Which is why I'm so against suffusencing, at least in the case of fishing.

A mythical essence can double a cooked fish's value, which is amazing, but it can also roll 5 properties on an item. On anything but tier 1/2 items I much rather roll the item.

The value of the essence might even be higher than the value of the fish cooked and baked in with that essence. Even when it comes to magical essences, which max out at 20% boost, I don't know if it adds enough value to overcome the price of the essence.

When factoring in time spent doing all this versus just catching more fish, I cant see suffusencing coming out on top at all.

I like this point being brought up!

Also is there a more efficient way of stacking my fish together on the stack of 40 to sell or is it better to just wait for later?

How you stack them and sell them is up to you. Your maximum stack size increases with skill level and varies by tier of fish, but hard to say what sells better smaller stacks or larger ones.

Cooking also increases maximum stack size. I can never remember if suffusencing increases max stack size or not.
