Realistically its going to take about 200 hours to see minor profits and its going to be 1000+ before maybe seeing an ok return. The low level fish have some value, but at rank 15 you can start catching fish that average 500 life or mana after cooking which is pretty damn good.

~200 hours total = rank ~15 fishing/cooking
~1000 hours total = rank ~31 fishing/cooking
~2000 hours total = rank ~45 fishing/cooking
~3000 hours total = rank ~55 fishing/cooking

I dont think suffusencing is worth it. For comparison if you do all three:

~200 hours total = rank ~12 of all 3
~1000 hours total = rank ~26 of all 3
~2000 hours total = rank ~37 of all 3
~3000 hours total = rank ~45 of all 3

The higher up all three get the bigger the difference in tiers you'll be getting versus just doing fishing/cooking. It might not be so bad if you didn't have to buy essences which aren't going to be that cheap.

Also at some point you just dont need stronger fish and I really think higher quantity is better than high amount. The only real time that higher amount comes into play(from what I can tell at least) is high level life fish during end game stuff like mirror maze, which is rarely done. When it comes to mana, quantity is almost always superior because you dont always need as much mana before leveling up.

Something else to consider tho is suffusencing can be used in other parts of the game so its balanced around that, not making money off fish.
Something else to consider is I'm gay.
Something else to consider is if you learn to masturbate with your hand that isn't controlling the mouse, 3000 hours is nothing!

Idk its hard to project those ranks because of added time it takes on avg for each fish fished/cooked or suffused to get prof the higher your level gets. It gets tougher and tougher and thing with fishing you aren't guaranteed a fish at the level you fish at so it takes more time to build quantity stacks but you still have fish :D
I know the muters said it takes 4 minutes to mute at there level , i'd die a happy slasher if you gave me the source of that info

How difficult is it to grasp the concept of doing this trifecta thing?

Not difficult, you fish and after you have alot of fish you cook them
You can make your fish 100% more effective when you cook them. IE 100 life : 200 life.

You go around at level 1-10 killing monsters and making a new char/reroll to gain items for transmuting.

You mute the item at the appropriate level to gain essences.

Take your cooked fish and your essences and suffuse them making them an additional up to 260 or 300% more effective (i forget what the max is but its around there)

You could also find someone who fishes/cooks/suffuses and work together.

if u r only interested in earning fg, then HC would be better. However, it will be harder to find usable fishing rods on HC.

Theres pros and cons to both cores.

Softcore has more of a player base and people attempting Mirror maze alot ( Tons of fishes are needed for mirror maze )

Fishes are nice to have on either core but HC more so.

Both cores would love more fish on the market im sure, as to which would be more profitable I couldn't call it.

if you can find 1-3 consistant buyers on hc , go there.
if not , go softcore and sell to skillers, mmers , and whoever else wants at random points. although the ratios arent the best.

long grind but u can make a bit i guess. gl :)

Would it be easier to just fish -or is it much more beneficial to do the trifecta even though it takes more time. Hard core speaking now...?
