I believe everyone who uses topic trackers in any shape or form has faced this. The 3month tracking is just too short and sometimes you forget to notice that the 3month tracking has been coming to a close. Once that happens, the topic may be lost or is hard to find again or is tedious to track again.
Namely I believe tracking Guild Topics should not even have a timer to be "tracked." I mainly use this site to talk to friends in our guild topics and using topic tracker to see updates/easy access to the thread or whatever you call it.
People may have other uses such as "stickying" Events or other threads which has no auto lock at specific post counts.

I propose to have any of these options to be implemented:
  • Remove the timers on the topic trackers.
  • Ability to Sticky them and keep the timers (Like other stickys, have them on top of page and stuck there)
  • Ability to put priority on the topic tracker (Have certain threads above others in terms of priority, similar to guild rankings)

I don't have photoshop abilities or any tools at my disposals at the time. So I am sorry if anyone wants an example of my idea.

The ability to organize threads based on personal preference: Definitely, by date and subforum is too restrictive.

Remove timers: You need about 1 minute every 3 months to refresh them, it's not really needed.

Just because there's a way to do things, doesn't mean you can't improve on it.
Also I gave a reason why removing timers helps in certain situations (aka you forget to check timer and it deletes off list and it's a 3month+ old, making it hard to find again. Especially if it's a locked thread or anything you want to keep as reference. Like history of item/thread for trade forums)
